One bottle of wine contain residues of over 20 different pesticides. Currently, the risk of multiple residues is still largely unexplored (scientifically)! 3,000 tons of pesticides are applied to German vineyards every year.
Our app uses smartphone images and artificial intelligence to differentiate between vine diseases. The app helps winemakers:
to get a quick and precise analysis of the pest/ disease/ nutient deficiency using image data,
to prevent the large-scale spread of the infestation by taking measures at an early stage.
This reduces the large-scale use of pesticides and at the same time controls and increases the quality and quantity of the grape yield.
